Quick Start

Get up and running with PandaNpc in just a few steps.

Step 1: Launch PandaNpc

After installing PandaNpc, launch the application. You'll see the main interface with the sidebar navigation.

Step 2: Configure an AI Model

1. Click the Settings icon in the sidebar
2. Navigate to Model Configuration
3. Choose your preferred AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.)
4. Enter your API key
5. Select a model (e.g., GPT-5, Claude Opus 4.6)

Step 3: Start a Conversation

1. Click the + button to create a new chat
2. Type your message in the input box
3. Press Enter to send
4. The AI will respond in real-time with streaming output

Step 4: Explore Features

• Multiple Conversations — Open multiple chats in tabs
• Model Switching — Switch between AI models mid-conversation
• Theme Customization — Choose from multiple beautiful themes
• Markdown Rendering — Full support for code blocks, tables, math equations
• Image Support — Send and receive images in conversations
