PandaNpc Notes is more than a place to save text. It's a shared workspace where your thoughts, AI conversations, and agent outputs all live in the same place, stay in sync across every device, and are one click away from any tool in PandaNpc.

Like Claw, Notes is built to be used, not configured. Open a page, start writing, and the rest — organization, AI assistance, agent access, cross-device sync — just works.

Write Like You Think, Not Like You're Filling a Form

The editor is block-based, similar to Notion. Each paragraph, heading, list, code block, table, image, or diagram is an independent block you can reorder, duplicate, or turn into something else on the fly.

Type / anywhere to insert — headings, checklists, toggles, callouts, code, tables, math (KaTeX), Mermaid diagrams, embedded images, multi-column layouts. Or just type a markdown prefix (#, -, 1., >) and the block adapts automatically.

Everything else works the way you'd expect: ⌘B for bold, drag to reorder blocks, paste images directly, copy a URL on a selection to turn it into a link.

AI Is in the Ribbon

Select any text and an AI menu appears in the toolbar. One click to:

Improve writing — smoother, tighter prose without changing meaning
Fix grammar — typos, punctuation, agreement
Shorten / lengthen / simplify
Translate — to any language, keeping formatting intact
Continue writing — AI picks up where you stopped
Explain / summarize — AI reads the selection and writes a gloss below
Custom prompt — tell AI what to do in natural language

Results stream in a preview right under your selection — you see them arrive, and accept or discard with one click. Nothing is applied unless you approve.

Organized Without Effort

Notes organize themselves around Workspaces:

Private Pages — your default personal workspace, always there, never deletable
Favorites — star any note from any workspace; it appears in this flat list for quick access
Custom Workspaces — create as many as you want for projects, clients, teams

Inside each workspace, notes nest freely — every note can have children, like folders. Drag to reparent. Collapse branches you don't need. The sidebar remembers what's expanded across sessions and devices.

Auto-Generated Titles

Start writing. As soon as you have a few sentences, the AI suggests a descriptive title. Accept it or rename — you never have to name a blank note before you know what it's about.

Search That Just Finds Things

Full-text search across every note in every workspace. Results appear as you type, with matches highlighted. Recent searches remembered so you can jump back.

Version History

Every autosave is a checkpoint. Rewind to any earlier version if an edit goes wrong. Writing feels safe to experiment in.

Trash

Deleted notes go to Trash, not the void. Restore with one click.

Real-Time Sync, Everywhere

Notes sync to the cloud the instant you stop typing. Every device you're signed in to sees the same live document.

Live collaboration — multiple people can edit the same note at once. You'll see other cursors moving through the text; there are no conflicts, no "resolve merge" dialogs. The editor uses a conflict-free merge algorithm (Yjs CRDT) under the hood so every keystroke goes where it belongs.

Offline-friendly — keep writing if Wi-Fi drops; changes replay to the server when you're back online.

From Claw Agents Into Notes

Any answer a Claw agent generates — long explanation, meeting summary, code review — can be saved to a note with one click. Agent-generated content shows up in your sidebar immediately.

Want the agent to write directly? Ask it: "save this to a new note in my Research workspace". Claw agents can create, update, move, and search notes on your behalf, so your knowledge base grows while you chat.

Notes Into Claw

Conversely, an agent can read your notes as context: "read my Q3 plan note and draft the Q4 version." The agent fetches the note content, uses it in the conversation, and writes back when you ask.

Claude Code Sidecar

Open any note, and the Claude Code panel slides in from the right. Ask coding questions while referencing your notes; what the agent writes can flow back into the note in place. No switching windows.

MCP-Compatible

Notes expose a standard MCP interface, so any MCP-aware client (Claude Desktop, Cursor, etc.) can read, create, and update your PandaNote pages with your explicit permission. Build custom automations without writing backend code.

Save Completions & Plans Automatically

When Claude Code finishes a task, it can auto-archive the summary to a dated done/ folder in your Private Pages — so your work log builds itself. Same for planning docs in plans/. You'll find it in your sidebar the next morning.

Why It's Different

Most notes apps are a blank text box. PandaNpc Notes is a membrane between you and every other tool you use — AI models, agents, Claude Code sessions, external MCP clients, scheduled tasks. What you write is immediately available everywhere it matters; what those tools produce lands back in your notes automatically.

That's the idea: the notes stop being another silo. They become the place your work quietly accumulates.
